About the full scheme 
Our six-week English scheme of work for lower key stage 2  is your perfect accompaniment to teaching the topic of Ancient Greece. Our English scheme of work is based on ‘The Corinthian Girl’ by Christina Balit. It follows a girl’s rise from an abandoned baby through to her triumph as the champion of the Heraean Games! 
 
At your fingertips you have 30 x 1 hour English lesson plans detailing differentiated activities in every lesson and even top teaching tips. The scheme includes three main learning projects: a news report (drama), a non-chronological report and a newspaper article. We also include lessons on all the features needed for the learning projects: coordinating conjunctions, subordinating conjunctions, adverbials of time and place and possessive apostrophes.
